Hunsicker, Doris (Marriage - 13 Nov. 1954) 
 

After a two weeks’ honeymoon, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Kramer will be at home to friends in Abbotsford. They will reside in the upstairs apartment in the C. W. Rayner house on First Street. 
 

Mr. Kramer is employed as telegraph operator for the Soo Line at Owen. Before her marriage, the bride was employed in the offices of the Veterans’ Administration, Milwaukee. 
 

The wedding ceremony took place Saturday evening, Nov. 13, at St. Paul’s Lutheran church, West Allis. The Rev. Carl Barth read the double ring service at 7:00 o’clock. The bride, Miss Doris Hunsicker, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Hunsicker, West Allis, and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Anton Kramer, Abbotsford. 
 

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a floor length gown of white lace, designed with long sleeves ending in points over the wrist and a three tier lace skirt. A crown of seed pearls secured her finger tip veil. She carried a colonial bouquet of white carnations. 
 

Attending her as maid of honor was her sister, Miss Nancy Hunsicker, West Allis, and Miss Ruth Baker, cousin of the groom, as bridesmaid. With their strapless ballerina length dresses of crystallet they wore jackets with three-quarter length sleeves and matching mitts. The maid of honor wore a wine colored dress and the bridesmaid, dark green. Both wore a floral arrangement of bronze mums in their hair and carried colonial bouquets of bronze mums. Their rhinestone necklaces and ear rings were gifts from the bride. 
 

Roger Kramer, Abbotsford, attended his brother as best man and Pvt. Alfred Hunsicker, Jr., Ft. Leonard Wood, was groomsman. 
 

The mother of the bride and the mother of the groom each chose a blue dress for the occasion, and wore black accessories. Their corsages were made of yellow baby mums. 
 

Following the ceremony a reception was held at the Log Cabin.
